In the Benelux Draka’s cables are used in low-voltage systems, industrial applications, data networking and telecom infrastructure such as Fiber-to-the-Home. Draka is a supplier of innovative low voltage cables and a reliable partner for consultants and installers in the electrical industry.
The Draka brand was founded in 1910 as the NV Hollandsche Wire & Cable Factory. Three years later the Dutch Cable Factory (NKF) started in Delft. NKF was later acquired by Pirelli Cavi – predecessor of Prysmian. Since 2011, Draka and Prysmian came together in the biggest cable producing company in the world: Prysmian Group.
Prysmian Group – listed on the Milan Stock Exchange Blue Chip index and – is the market leader in the field of high-tech cables and systems for energy and telecommunications.
